Overview

Anthony R. Johnson is an Associate with Goldberg Simpson. His practice primarily includes tort litigation and insurance defense, commercial and business litigation, general civil litigation, real estate disputes, healthcare licensure defense, and corporate formations. He also assists collegiate and professional athletes in monetizing their name, image, and likeness (NIL).

Anthony is from Oldham County, Kentucky and received his B.A. in Health Sciences, cum laude, from the University of Kentucky. Thereafter, Anthony earned his J.D. and graduated cum laude from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. While at Brandeis, Anthony was actively engaged as a Class Representative for the Student Bar Association, American Inn of Court Pupil, and member of the Sports Law and Entertainment Society.

Anthony is currently a member of the Kentucky Defense Counsel, Young Professionals Association of Louisville, and NBA2Lou. Outside of the office, Anthony enjoys the outdoors, golfing, and spending time with his fiancée, Madison, and dog, Zoe.

The Insurance Law Defense Group concentrates efforts on Tort Defense, Claims Defense, and Coverage Analysis and Litigation. It also has extensive experience in claims litigation and settlement — specifically in mediating and litigating motor vehicle, premises, product, food and restaurant, trucking, transportation, industrial, construction, environmental, and other general liability claims.
